The Milford Observer newspaper (of Milford, N.H.) details Mark Suprenant's path from well driller to cyclist on Team Type 1's squad for this year's Race Across America (RAAM).“I was out on a service call, and in the house was all of this diabetes literature,” Suprenant told reporter Nancy Bean Foster.
Suprenant has been competing in cycling the past 14 years after being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 22.
